This blood work was done for me in  February of 1998.  The doctor who my family doctor referred me to would not examine me or do a pap, both which I wanted done.   I called the HERS foundation, explained what was going on and was referred to this doctor.  This doctor did examine me and perform my requested pap.   He also ordered the following blood work, informing me that this type of blood work is standardly  repeated all the time about one month apart.  You'll see that he repeated the FSH, LH,  and he ordered  more testing to rule out auto immune disease.   This doctor when examining me asked me how long I had been on HRT.   When I told him how long I had been on HRT he said, "I can see by your color you have a ways to go..."   This was said because of the vagainal  color change that happens when your in hormone shock. When you start on HRT the color changes back.  The color doesn't change in one day, and does not come back in one day The color change takes place slowly over the corse of months or even years and can take just as long to correct once HRT is started.  I was hopping that this doctor might help me (even though he admitted to being friends with one of the wives from Dr.X's practice) but when I tried to follow up with  him as far as some suggestions he had for my health care  he and his office staff refused to offer help or  referrals.  It was very obvious that they didn't want me as a patient.   I never returned to him after this blood work was completed and will post more about this doctor at another time.
