Subject: PTLS and reversal

Women write and call asking about REVERSAL. I have written about this on the forum in my web sites and on www.tubal.org.

I wrote a chapter on this topic over 100 pages. My editor was pissed I wrote so much on the topic. Now I realize I can do a whole book with ease on this.  The final book will have PTLS cases. I want to have at least 10 to include. Susan has been writing hers for years.

I am enclosing here a picture of PTLS. This is a drawing showing normal on one side. The other side shows what happens in PTLS.

More information and detailed closeup photos are posted within the CPTwomen members site, and at The Hufnagel Institute

This shows that Reversal does not deal with the issues of PTLS

     Reversal does NOT correct PTLS...
          Reversal does NOT correct PTLS...
               Reversal does NOT correct PTLS!!!

Did you read that….???

I have been writing and talking about this for years and women do not listen.  I spend hours talking to women and they don’t listen.   Putting the tubes back together does NOT fix all the things that go wrong after a tubal ligation.

I am repeatly asked, "if I get a reversal, will all my sympotms reverse?"  I repeat, reversal does NOT correct PTLS.  I will have to write this section to somehow make it more clear.

To be brief, here are the points for those that have not or refuse to listen

Tubal reversal does not fix…

1.  Hormonal Imbalance

  • The hormones need to be evaluated
  • Causality sought
  • NCH created for individual

Tubal reversal does not fix this...

2.  Increased rates of prolapse and retroversion

Tubal reversal does not correct this...

3.  Pelvic Adhesions

Tubal reversal does not correct this...

4.  80% have Adenomyosis

Tubal reversal does not correct this...

5.  Periovarain sclerosis

Tubal reversal does not correct this...

These are just a few…

More PTLS information will be elaborated on in my new book,
"No More Menopause",
and am writing with Susan and the CPTwomen Members,
"The Cassandra Syndrome, The Hormonal Holocaust".
Please look within the CPTwomen's members site for the
chapter I wrote in 1999 and to give your input, ideas,
suggestions, and relay your own tubal ligation and
post tubal experiences for this book.
